Bolted Solid Sleeve

Another solid sleeve design, not requiring fusion to the PE pipe, is the one-bolt device which can be used to connect PE pipe to PVC or DI pipe, representing a convenient, rapid field connection which may be used for repair. This coupling is similar to a standard PE mechanical connector but has a special locking ring that grips the PE pipe to prevent pullout, and generally requires a stiffener inside the PE pipe, especially if the DR is greater than 11.
